As other candidates perform poorly and possibly drop out after today's primary in Michigan and Saturday's in South Carolina, Craig and Dinerstein said Huckabee may face a smaller field of opponents. While he may get the same share, each of the remaining Republicans would be able to get a larger share of the vote.

Henry Bayard, Huckabee's volunteer coordinator in Broward, lauds the candidate for talking about protecting the environment, improving education, and the so-called fair tax. The fair tax, a major cause among some conservatives, calls for replacing all federal income taxes with a national sales tax. "He's more of a well-rounded candidate," Bayard said.
