“I’ll Probably go with Huckabee”

With Fred Thompson quitting the race for president, his Florida supporters are now moving their support to Gov. Mike Huckabee. It’s a nature switch. Many social, fiscal and foreign policy conservatives were lining up behind Thompson early on when he was the rock star. Now they are gravitating to Gov Huckabee because his pro-life, pro-2nd Amendment, and strong national security policy are all so similar to Senator Thompson’s.

Atlanta-based pollster Matt Towery said Huckabee will get more votes without Thompson siphoning away Christian conservatives.
